On Tuesday, April 3rd, the face of the Marvel Universe will change as we know it, as the biggest event in comics since last year’s DC NEW 52 relaunch, begins with AVENGERS VS. X-MEN. Avengers vs. X-Men is the culmination of decades worth of Marvel Universe storytelling into one incredible storyline that will literally tear the Marvel Universe to pieces in it’s aftermath. This isn’t the biggest thing since CIVIL WAR. This is BIGGER THAN CIVIL WAR. This isn’t the biggest thing since the INFINITY GAUNTLET. This is BIGGER than the Infinity Gauntlet. Heck, this could be the biggest storyline we’ve seen come out of Marvel, and folks, they’ve got all their heavy hitters lined up for this one.

With an all-star cast of creators handling the title, you’ve got a crew that consists of Ed Brubaker, Jason Aaron, Jonathan Hickman, Olivier Coipel, Matt Fraction, John Romita JR, and Andy Kubert. That right there, is pretty much a who’s who of some of Marvel’s biggest creative talents. And, if you couldn’t tell: we are totally pumped.

In fact, we’re so excited about AvX, that we’re going to be putting together one of our biggest undertakings yet to celebrate it’s release. We’re going to be designating each of our stores as AVENGERS or X-MEN, and we’re going to let YOU decide on which side we fall on.
