DC New 52: The Zero Month — Everything You Need To Know

One year ago, DC Comics changed the face of comics as we know it with their revolutionary NEW 52 relaunch, and we have to say: their gamble worked. They’ve refreshed their universe, and made the DC Universe one of the most exciting places to be reading these days. An amazing roster of stories from top to bottom, featuring some of the best creators in comics working on some of the most iconic characters, the NEW 52 has definitely been a hit, and we’ve personally been enjoying nearly all of it.

Now, DC is looking to mark their one year anniversary of the NEW 52 with something that’s equally as big, and if you ask us: this is just as exciting as when the 52 issue #1s dropped.

The ZERO issues are special one-shot issues that are a part of their main series, but serves as special origin and jumping-on-point issues. Each one helps explain the differences in the NEW 52 versions of these characters, focusing on the crucial changes that have made them who they are, while at the same time introducing these characters to new readers altogether.
